JENNY HULSE is featured in true life first world war TV movie WALTER'S WAR for BBC4 showing on Remembrance Sunday and then repeated on 13th: and the documentary, FORGOTTEN HERO, that pairs with Kwame Kwei-Armah's drama is also broadcast on 13th Nov. with NICK FARR supplying all the narrated character voices ~ KATHLEEN MCDERMOTT has recovered from DEAD SET (E4) and is filming the Rab C Nesbitt Christmas Special, as Rab and Mary's daughter-in-law, with JORDAN YOUNG in the cast, and has just completed HAPPY HALLIDAYS (a new pilot sitcom set in a tourist office starring Ford Kiernan and Karen Dunbar) with ANTHONY BOWERS as their hapless co-worker ~ Watch out for WILLIAM RUANE in THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY (Palme d'or winning Ken Loach Irish drama) premiering on Film Four on Thurs. 13th ~ EILEEN MCCALLUM and GORDON MCCORKELL are onscreen in RIVER CITY (BBC Scotland) ~ JULIET CADZOW is Edier McCreedie in BALAMORY (CBBC) ~

 

NEW CLIENT TONY MCGEEVER, along with GARY FRENCH, LORNA MCDEVITT and NICK FARR have completed filming on HOPE SPRINGS (Shed/BBC). Tony is playing regular character Ronan Harris, Gary is Stan, Lorna is Gail and Nick is copper's copper DC Nottage in this Highlands set new series starring Alex Kingston and Annette Crosbie to be networked in 2009 ~ Nick is also featured in a new sitcom THE OLD GUYS filming at the end of November ~

 

Ongoing filming: SHABANA BAKHSH wraps series four of WATERLOO ROAD in mid-November - the series will screen from January 2009 and Shabana as young, footloose and romantic teacher Jasmine Koreshi is right at the centre of this season; JANINE MELLOR continues as Kelsey on CASUALTY; EILEEN MCCALLUM and GORDON MCCORKELL are filming the revamped RIVER CITY (BBC Scotland) ~

 

And coming up: KARI CORBETT returns in THE ROYAL from 14th December as Nurse Marion (the heart stopper) ~

Just opened: MARTIN DOCHERTY stars in NASTY, BRUTISH AND SHORT at the Traverse Theatre from the 7th (a co-production of new writing with the National Theatre of Scotland) ~ LORNA MCDEVITT is Mrs MacCawber in DAVID COPPERFIELD at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, directed by Giles Havergal ~ AMANDA BEVERIDGE is Blanche du Bois in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE at the Horsecross, Perth, and is then joined by ADAM REEVES in the cast of THE SNOW QUEEN for Christmas ~
