On screen: Roistering new 18th century legal costume drama GARROW'S LAW fills Sunday evenings on BBC1 in November featuring ANTHONY BOWERS in the regular role of the Clerk; guest starring JULIE HALE and KATE DICKIE in episodes involving rape, highwaymen and the rights of man – can't wait! ~

GARROW'S LAW - NEIL MACKAY - IAN BRADY (THE RIGHT TO DIE)

~ In a more serious vein NEIL MACKAY portrays the young Ian Brady in THE RIGHT TO DIE, screening first on BBC Alba (available on BBC iplayer for general viewing 29th Oct.) this is a drama documentary profile of the Moors murderer made by STV for MG Alba ~

 

On set: JOHN PAUL HURLEY has been filming in October on BEING HUMAN (the Werewolf/Ghost/Vampire menage a trois hit comedy/drama for BBC) playing a seriously damaged individual for director Kenny Glennan (SUMMER) ~

 

Returning after some years and a smash reunion Christmas special to set them up - RAB C NESBITT is back and JORDAN YOUNG returns as recurring character Chris with guest appearances by SHONAGH PRICE as Dr Lessnoff (!), and JAN WILSON, MATT COSTELLO and MARTIN DOCHERTY as other weegie exotics ~

 

RIVER CITY regulars GORDON MCCORKELL and EILEEN MCCALLUM are filming the next block of the long running BBC Scotland weekly drama until the end of November, with MARTIN DOCHERTY returning as everyman philosopher Nige ~

 

LIP SERVICE (Sex in the City meets This Life) is filming for BBC3 in Glasgow with a starry lead cast including the brilliant Laura Fraser, supported by recurring Police Constable STEWART ROBERTSON and wee hard man MATTHEW WORKMAN
